This time we go head to head with the classic sounds of 1970's English Movies & Television. I think its fair to say Skeewiff are no strangers to the world of lounge & there is more than a fair spattering of samples from the legendary Amphonic library all over our earlier albums. This is mostly down to two things: Our love of crate digging through old library records & our love of Syd Dale - 70s band leader and Amphonic label founder - who is a massive musical influence on us. So this album will probably come as no surprise to regulars.
Naturally, when the opportunity arose, we simply, positively and most definitely had to raid the archives. Which we did... and then some. Every diggers dream!! & all we had to do was remix a few of them in return. Which we did - And then some. So, with the full blessing of Ian Dale & Amphonic, we took on the honerous task of remixing, re-editing, re-wiffing and generally applying a bit of digital spit and polish to some of the sounds of our childhood. We just hope our 6 year old-selves would be proud... or dancing.. preferably both.
With no further ado.. We proudly present…
