This record was the original and the very first appearance of the Mega-Wiff, a format where every single notable moment, groove or riff in multiple covers of a classic record or standard are channeled to create the ultimate version. It took several incarnations over multiple releases to get all the performances right, but we're pretty sure our baby is home now.
Fun Fact - This Wiff is as old as the Skee in concept but took a couple of albums to see its first release, and a whole quarter century before its definitive pseudo-quasi-conclusion.
lyrics
I'm comin' home, baby now
(Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do)
I'm comin' home now, right away (do-do-do)
I'm comin' home, baby now (do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do)
I'm sorry now I ever went away (do-do-do-do)
Every night and day, I'll go and stay
I'm comin' home, now (come on home)
Comin' home baby, now (you know I'm waitin' here for you)
I'm comin' home now, real soon (you've been gone)
Comin' home baby, now (I don't know what I'm gonna do)
I'm comin' home I know I'm overdue
(Since you went away) expect me any day, now real soon
Comin' home now (come on home)
I'm comin' home baby, now (you know I'm prayin' every night)
That everything is gonna be fine (please come home)
I'm comin' home baby, now (I want to feel you hold me tight)
Expect to see me now, anytime
(When I'm in your arms I'll be alright) when you're in my arms, I'll be fine
Hey I'm comin' home (come on home)
Comin' home, baby now (you know I'm counting every day)
I'm comin' home now, yeah-yeah-yeah! (Use the phone)
I'm comin' ho-ho-home, baby now (and let me hear you say!)
I'm comin' home, you're hearin' what I say
(That you're comin' home) and I never will go away
I'm comin' home
I'm comin' home, baby, baby, comin' home (you know I'm waitin' at the door)
They can't hold me back now, no-oh-oh more (I'm alone)
The road is long, baby now (and pacing up and down the floor)
Oh, hear me holler and hear me roar
(Say you'll be with me) gonna be with you ever more (ever more)
Comin' home now (come on home)
I'm on my way home (oh baby, say you're comin' home)
That's what I say, I say I'm comin' home (something's wrong)
The road is long, baby now (you ought to either write or phone)
I'm comin' home and never more to roam
(Baby, tell me you're) baby, I'm for sure, comin' home
I'm comin' home (come on home)
I'm comin' home, do you hear me? (Come on home)
I'm on my way home pretty baby (come on home)
I've been working long on my game (come on home)
On my dancin' feet (come on home)
At the avenue, I'll take you, to go to our street (come on home)
I'm comin' home

The Allergies are one of my favorite music artists, hands down! This inspired funky as can be music is so addictive, be warned. It ranges from funky soul, Northern Soul stylings, 60's styled Motown or Spector, Conscious Hip-Hop, Latin, Gospel, 70's Soul; my favorite is more like my favorite tracks, (plural): Every Trick in the Book & Get Yourself some, not a dud track. Honestly, you won't be disappointed.**DJs & Audiophiles comes on double Orange pressing at 45 RPM for club. Music Junkie 4 Life
