These Boots are Made For Walking "We love you long time"
So much win. Nancy Sinatra. THAT Bass lick. The groove that just wont quit. The wrecking crew! The frantic horn ending. This record has it all, and decade after decade, generation after generation it just keeps on finding new fans. We absolutely had to do a version just to un-fade the fade that has caused so much anguish over the years. You've just hit peak groove... and bam, no more space on the 45, time to dim the fader... noooooooo!
I mean imagine if a movie ended like that... 90% of the way in and stuff just started fading to black. Cold. Wiffed it. You're welcome!
Fun Fact: We loved this song forever before realising only very recently that it featured Bass hero Carol Kaye on Dano, Hal Blaine on Drums and other wrecking crew regulars performing on the backing track. Stuff of legends.
lyrics
You keep sayin' you've got somethin' for me
Somethin' you call love but confess
You've been a'messin' where you shouldn't 've been a'messin'
And now someone else is getting all your best
These boots are made for walkin'
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you
Ya
You keep lyin' when you oughta be truthin'
And you keep losing when you oughta not bet
You keep samin' when you oughta be a'changin'
Now what's right is right but you ain't been right yet
These boots are made for walkin'
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you
You keep playin' where you shouldn't be playin'
And you keep thinkin' that you'll never get burnt (ha)
I just found me a brand new box of matches, yeah
And what he knows you ain't had time to learn
These boots are made for walkin'
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you
Are you ready, boots? Start walkin'

The Allergies are one of my favorite music artists, hands down! This inspired funky as can be music is so addictive, be warned. It ranges from funky soul, Northern Soul stylings, 60's styled Motown or Spector, Conscious Hip-Hop, Latin, Gospel, 70's Soul; my favorite is more like my favorite tracks, (plural): Every Trick in the Book & Get Yourself some, not a dud track. Honestly, you won't be disappointed.**DJs & Audiophiles comes on double Orange pressing at 45 RPM for club. Music Junkie 4 Life
